Organizer of Hunt

I am a Hunt Organizer. The name of my hunt group is Beachside Hunt Group.

My first hunt was Love is in the Air from February 1st - 28th. I cant believe its been over a year since I started organizing Hunts. Not a lot of Organizers last this long. After a few hunts most organizers stop from all the stress that comes with organizing them. But me I love doing hunts...stress and all.

I have learned a lot about myself and ways to improve the way I do hunts. Some organizers use a lot of scripts and systems to help them with organizing there hunts. I don't use a lot of scripts and I don't use a system. For those who may want to start doing hunts here are a few ways to make the work lets on you as a vendor.

Step One ~ Come up with a Theme/Name for Hunt...A theme is very important...it helps you figure out what type of vendors you may want in your hunt.

Step Two ~ When you want your hunt to occur. This may also help you figure out the theme of your hunt.

Step Three ~ Create your hunt poster. Poster should have hunt name & date of hunt on it.

Step Four ~ Hunt Item.

Step Five ~ Notecards for the hunt. Hunt info., Application, and Hunters Info.

Step Six ~ Hunt Group. Good to have a general name or you will be making a new group for every hunt you do.

Step Seven ~ Are you going to have a website for the hunt. Just like the Group name something general so you want have to create a new blog for each Hunt. Some good free sites are http://www.wordpress.com & http://www.blogger.com

Step Eight ~ Google Spreadsheet. A good way to keep up with your vendors and a way for them to check and see if they have things you asked for ready. Easy way to keep up with Walk through and so forth.

After all that, make your poster and but a script in to give out your info on touch.  You should be ready. Send out your info in groups and pass on to store owners as you hop through SL. Should you ever need help please feel free to ask and good luck.

A True Gentalman

I talked to an interesting gentlemen earlier today and I thought I would write a little something about it. So if you come across him some day sit and talk to him.

It has been a long time since I have found a man to talk to. Every man that IMs (Instant Message) me just say "Hi want to have sex".

This gentleman told me I looked nice in my glasses. WOW the start of a nice conversation. I'm not going to go through our hold conversation, but it's so nice to meet new people who actually respects you and gives you a compliment.

Random Thoughts

I have been in SL (Second Life) since June 22, 2006. That's 1745 days (to date), that's a long time to be playing a game.

I have RP (Role Played) in everything SL has to offer to date. (I will not be talking about my many adventures here I will let you use your imagination on that.) And for you Newbies (new members), there's more to SL then pixel sex. Why don't you try some of them and stop asking those of us who have been here longer for sex. Because nine times out of ten we are going to tell you HELL NO! Most people who play more then a year have a business and love what they do.

I have come across some great people in SL. A lot of them are still playing but some have found bigger and better things in RL (Real Life). (I will be posting about each of them.)

As most of you don't know...I meet my RL husband in SL. For those of you who think you cant find Love in a Game you can. I don't recommend it but, it is possible. Treat SL for what it is A GAME. I have meet some people who treat SL as if it is RL and you just cant do that. SL can be a dangerous place and believe it or not there are some messed up people who play SL and will take advantage of you if your not careful.

You can be whatever you want to be in SL. Let your imagination run wild, but PLEASE keep in mind, we are all real humans behind our AV (Avatar). No matter what our AV may look like in SL that does not mean that is what we are in RL. We all have feelings try to truly RESPECT that.
